Heimdallr is established in 2016 by cyber security experts Mike Stet and Cees Berrens. Both are working for many years in the cybersecurity landscape with a focus on defending and resilience.

The company name Heimdallr is not randomly choosen. Heimdallr is a figure from Norse mythology who is considered to be the watchman of the gods. He is described as having keen senses, especially his hearing and sight, and is said to be able to hear the grass grow and see a hundred miles away even in the dark of night. This is exactly what the Heimdallr company stands for; focus, thinking ahead and sharp in protecting our customers.
